More about Jade…
Are there parts of you that feel hidden or unexplored? Curious about one-on-one somatic work?
Jade is a queer + trans intimacy coach and somatic sex educator, working with gender creatives, queers and folx under the LGBTQ+ rainbow. They use trauma-informed touch, live music, movement, nature and play to help unwind blocks to intimacy. Tracking the imprints of oppression, ancestral brilliance, and dreams ready to be born, their approach is playful, intentional and relational. Their studio is in an oak grove sanctuary near the Willamette river.
From rituals to roughhousing, they bring nuance and depth to this highly creative work. They also facilitate skill-building workshops, dance events and online playscapes. In 2023, they birthed a program calledQueering Erotic Belonging full of juicy ways to unhook from internalized sexual and gender oppression for the LGBTQ+ community.
Jade is from artists, farmers and weavers, Ashkenazi Jews and Romani people who traded their culture for whiteness in the early 1900s. They are actively trading this back, unwinding whiteness while inviting in the grief and magic of their ancestral lineages. When they aren't working, you can find them making melt-in-your-mouth pancakes, jumping into rivers, going to drag shows, growing roots with their partner and kids, and dancing on their back porch.
